Between Edmonton, Toronto, Calgary and Winnipeg, who's the biggest mess?

Winnipeg
Toronto
Calgary

Would be my order.

Peter,

How is Bogossian playing? He is my target as I would love for the Flyers to try and get him. I think he just needs a change of scenery. I think he could be that numbher one guy on the back end they need.

I think its time to trade Byfuglen and Kane and shake things up. Goaltending doesn't seem to be working either, need to look for an upgrade.

Does calgary really apply? They're still in teh beginnings of a rebuild. Monohan should be a stud, and they'll get a solid player this year. Doubtful, (still very early though) they're rebuild will be ala Edmonton.

They are awful and Monahan won't save them. I did put them as best of the bunch though.

The one thing I never see mentioned is ultimately everyone blames everyone but Ladd as a captain he does not give it his all every game and can be often seen floating. Why is it Wheeler stepping up to talk to media, fight for teammates and hustling to make things happen. I think we have had Ladd long enough and would get a good return for him. But it doesn't matter who we move, it seems the team is content sliding Thorburn up the depth chart...all he's good at is babysitting Kane and getting his face punched. To have a chance you need to take a chance, the city is sick of the same garbage team we got from Atlanta other then Frolik and waiver wire and bottom line guys not changes have been made. We gave 5.6 Mil a year to a defenseman who has a stick longer then buf is tall, can't clear the net, or fight for it in the corner without getting knocked down. This team is a mess and no sure answer to fix it (it would be a tough job to step into and honestly easier to complain about it then fix ) . The hunny moon is way over in Winnipeg, its not as easy to sell tickets, kijiji and ticket exchange for the C and even B class games are plentiful.

love how you left out the canucks because they beat the oilers twice and calgary once. sure, i'm biased, but right now i like the flames position more than the canucks. neither team is winning the cup anytime soon.

They already have 8 pts ! Dont get me wrong they will be out of the playoff, but I dont think they qualify as awful !

Canucks are 2 seasons removed from the cup final, different league pal.

Seems to me Chevy was sleeping at the switch all summer, hoping a full season of Maurice will make the team a winner.

He has proven he can't.

From an outsider's perspective who likes the Jets he has to go.

Two seasons more of an aging core is not good

Every teams core has aged the last two seasons.

Yes, but some teams aging core has put them closer to their prime, and others *cough* have been moving farther away.

The Jets forward unit is solid but the loss of Kane really leaves a void that can't be filled.

I think the Jets need a overhaul on the back-end. Pavelec is the worst starter in the league, but he's not given much help by the defense. Trouba is a stud but he's still young. Other than Trouba there's nobody overly exciting on their defense. I think Winnipeg could have definitely used Leddy, I am still curious what their offer was. Pokka was a decent return, but I'm sure the Jets could have done better.

Winnipeg has some decent forwards, some decent prospects, a decent coach, and a whole lot of nothing else.

You can point fingers wherever you like but the truth is that this team has a lot of untalented depth and sub-par goaltending.

Pittsburgh was in a similar situation with their depth issues and Rutherford was proactive in fixing that this season. Cheveldayoff appears to largely be sitting on his hands.

You're a (frank)ing idiot & nothing is going to save you. What a retard statement. We've completed 1 year of our rebuild & if Team Canada were picking a team right now, Gio/Brodie would be on it & I would match our goaltending combo's performance against anyones this year so far. How is this team a mess? Go eat some of Scooby's Doo!

Game 5 of 82 don't forget.

Would you make a decision on buying a house if you only saw 6.1% of it? Nope. Sure maybe a change or two wouldn't be a bad idea, but to doom and gloom the season, might be a little early.

This is more than blame game, Pistol Pete - this is season #4 ... and we have seen much more than 6.1% !

This is bullish_t

I was being patient - through the trade deadline and last summer ... I was positive about the lineup heading into this season ... my wife and I were at the Preds game - - flat, uninspired, poopty

I was even on-board with the juggling of lines ... a wake up call of sorts

Is there anyone that can rush the puck ? Anyone ? ... "team defence ?!!?"

I sure the hell am not gonna spend $400/game (tix, parking, beers) to see the Jets gas another game and talk to the media about improvement

So - here we are:

1. bring Budaj up - play him several games - let's see what we have
2. stick the "C" on Wheels
3. Chevy - pack
4. Wheels, Little, and youngsters stay - bust up the rest of the 'Atlanta core' ... start from the goal line and work your way north

I hope like hell we go 4-1 in the next 5 and I come to my senses - however - no the start to the season we wanted
